Purda municipality launches historical archive project for Nowa Kaletka

The Purda municipality and the village of Nowa Kaletka have launched a community project to collect historical materials ahead of the village’s 200th anniversary next year. The initiative seeks old photographs, documents, and personal memories from current and former residents to document the history of the area and its people.

Organizers are looking for items depicting significant events as well as everyday life, such as images of homes, farms, schools, and family celebrations. The project aims to capture stories from the post-war period and earlier, including oral histories passed down through generations.
