Purdue, falling to 1-2, saw a strong performance from quarterback Ryan Browne, who threw for 378 yards and three touchdowns. Despite an offensive output of 38 points, the Boilermakers' defense struggled, allowing 645 total yards of offense. The loss marks a difficult stretch for Purdue, which has struggled against Power Four opponents.
