Purdue and Washington prepare for Friday night matchup

The Purdue Boilermakers are set to host the Washington Huskies at Ross-Ade Stadium this Friday night. Purdue enters the matchup following consecutive Big Ten victories, bolstered by a strong rushing attack led by Fame Ijeboi and the kicking performance of freshman Jacobo Echeverria Lozano.

Washington faces significant roster challenges heading into the game. Coach Jedd Fisch confirmed that linebacker Xe'ree Alexander will be sidelined for a substantial period due to a high-ankle sprain. Additionally, the Huskies will be without place-kicker Grady Gross and defensive tackle Ta'ita'i Uiagalelei, as court challenges regarding their fifth year of eligibility were unsuccessful following recent NCAA rule changes. Starting quarterback Demond Williams Jr. remains listed as questionable for the contest.
