Purdue football prepares for season opener against Indiana State

Purdue football is preparing for its 2026 season opener against Indiana State at Ross-Ade Stadium. Head coach Barry Odom noted that the team is ready for the Friday night kickoff and plans to use deep rotations to keep players fresh despite the expected warm weather.

Regarding roster status, Odom confirmed that all players will be active for the game except for Raderrion Daniels and Kylan Fox, who are out with season-ending knee injuries. The coaching staff has focused on physical metrics and the development of the wide receiver group.

Ross-Ade Stadium has implemented several updates for the 2026 season, including new parking options in Armory, O-Lot, Purdue West, and M-Lot. Additionally, shuttle routes have been updated with new pickup locations and real-time tracking to improve the game day experience.
