Purdue University teams secure Big Ten victories in soccer and volleyball

Purdue University athletic teams secured victories in both soccer and volleyball to advance their conference standings.

The Purdue men's soccer team defeated Illinois 3-0, marking their third consecutive conference win. Jaiden Anderson opened the scoring in the 37th minute, followed by two goals from McKenzie Carle in the second half. The shutout victory brings the Boilermakers to a 9-1-1 overall record and 3-1-0 in Big Ten play.

In volleyball, the No. 10 ranked Purdue team swept Maryland 3-0 (25-16, 25-22, 25-9) to begin Big Ten play. Addy Tindall led the offense with 15 kills, while libero Ryan McAleer contributed 18 digs and seven assists to anchor the defense.
