Purecore Metals moves to full ownership of Yurchison Uranium Project in Saskatchewan

Purecore Metals (CSE:PURE) has tightened its option agreement to acquire up to 100% of the Yurchison Uranium Project in Saskatchewan, Canada. The property, covering about 35,000 hectares in the Athabasca Basin and located roughly 75 km south of Cameco’s Rabbit Lake mine, was previously held by Skyharbour Resources (TSX‑V:SYH). Under the deal, Purecore can secure an initial 70% stake by paying C$350,000 in cash, issuing C$700,000 in shares and spending at least C$3.5 million on exploration, with an additional C$3 million cash and C$3 million in shares required for the remaining 30%. Skyharbour will retain a 2% net‑smelter‑return royalty.

Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (TSXV:PTU) reported results from the first phase of its 2026 summer drilling on the Dorado Project, a 50/50 joint venture with IsoEnergy Ltd. (TSX:ISO). Hole NV26‑11 intersected 5.6 m of continuous radioactivity at the Nova discovery, averaging 11,730 counts per second (cps) with a peak of 53,300 cps. The interval includes higher‑intensity sections up to 43,480 cps. Laboratory assays are pending. CEO Chris Frostad said the results reinforce the company’s geological model and will guide the next drilling priorities when work resumes.
