Puregold Hakot Relay attracts 4,000 runners in Cavite
More than 4,000 runners participated in the Puregold Hakot Relay South Luzon leg, held at the Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite. The event introduced the company’s first 8K Individual Challenge, which saw approximately 500 solo participants compete.
The event also featured the signature Hakot Relay, a team-based race where participants strategize to collect grocery items while navigating the course. Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, Puregold Senior Marketing Manager, stated that the inclusion of the ‘hakot’ mechanic was intended to provide a unique and playful challenge for the running community.
