Purina Pro Plan expands FortiFlora probiotic line

Purina Pro Plan has expanded the availability of its FortiFlora veterinary probiotic line, launching the product in Chile and introducing a new Diarrhea Response Kit for dogs and cats.

The FortiFlora line utilizes the Enterococcus lactis SF68 strain, which is designed to support intestinal microbiota balance, digestive health, and immune function. The product features a microencapsulation process to ensure bacterial viability within the gastrointestinal tract.

The newly unveiled Diarrhea Response Kit offers a two-step approach to managing occasional diarrhea. The first step involves stick packs containing kaolin and pectin to help firm loose stools, while the second step utilizes daily FortiFlora sachets to maintain long-term digestive and intestinal balance.
