Pursuit Aerospace expands casting capacity via UK acquisition and Tunisia expansion
Pursuit Aerospace has announced a dual-pronged expansion of its aerospace casting capabilities through a major facility expansion in Tunisia and the acquisition of Creasey Castings Limited in the United Kingdom.
In Tunis, the company began construction on a third building on September 3, aimed at increasing the site's footprint by 40%. The expansion, expected to be completed in the second half of 2027, will increase the facility to over 140,000 square feet and is projected to employ more than 1,000 people. The Tunis site specializes in nickel- and cobalt-based investment castings for aeroengine manufacturers. The project intends to add furnace and shell-line capacity while insourcing post-casting machining and special processing.
Additionally, Pursuit completed the acquisition of Creasey Castings Limited on August 11, 2026. Based in the UK, Creasey Castings is a sandcasting specialist with over 35 years of experience producing precision magnesium and aluminum parts. The acquisition, which is Pursuit’s sixth since 2023, adds capacity to address constraints in the aerospace magnesium sandcasting market. The Creasey facility is located adjacent to Pursuit’s existing sandcasting foundry in Sittingbourne.
