Yash’s mother defends actor’s pre-KGF stardom

Pushpa Arunkumar, mother of Kannada superstar Yash, has publicly responded to past remarks made by producer Allu Aravind regarding her son’s stardom prior to the success of the KGF franchise.

Addressing comments where Aravind questioned Yash’s popularity before KGF, Arunkumar emphasized that her son had already achieved significant success in the Kannada film industry, delivering five consecutive hits including titles such as ‘Mr. and Mrs. Ramachari’ and ‘Gajakesari’. She highlighted Yash’s humble beginnings as the son of a bus driver and noted that his career was built through years of struggle and television work rather than industry connections.

Arunkumar also addressed the recent reception of Yash’s latest film, ‘Toxic’, alleging that the lukewarm box office response and criticism may be part of an intentional campaign to suppress his career. She characterized the backlash as orchestrated propaganda rather than organic audience feedback.
