Putin blames Western globalists for European political shifts and Ukraine conflict
During the BRICS summit in India, Russian President Vladimir Putin attributed recent European political shifts, including the Alternative for Germany (AfD) victory in Saxony-Anhalt, to systemic errors made by Western globalist elites in politics, security, and economics.
Putin argued that the current conflict in Ukraine is a direct consequence of the West's efforts to expand NATO eastward and its disregard for Russian security concerns. He further claimed that Western nations are using fabricated threats from Russia to intimidate their own populations.
Addressing the BRICS business forum, Putin also accused Western competitors of attempting to maintain economic dominance through irregular means, including physical attacks on industrial infrastructure and pipelines. He positioned BRICS as a platform for building a new, sustainable model for global growth.
