Putin says Russia is fighting for its present and future

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated during the ‘Strong Ideas for a New Era’ forum in Nizhny Novgorod that Russia is currently engaged in a battle for its present and future. He called on citizens from all sectors—including volunteers, NGOs, engineers, workers, and entrepreneurs—to contribute toward achieving what he termed a ‘common victory.’

Putin emphasized the necessity of utilizing expertise gained by military personnel during the special military operation to advance both military and civilian technologies. He stressed that the state and society share a responsibility to ensure veterans can continue serving the nation in economic, administrative, and social sectors.

To drive regional growth from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, Putin advocated for the widespread adoption of domestic innovations. He specifically tasked the Agency for Strategic Initiatives with developing additional incentives to encourage business investment in social projects and noted plans for a new ‘Atlas of Future Civil and Military Competencies’ to address needs in the coming decades.
