Putin warns Russia must be ready for anything amid conflict updates

During a speech at the Eastern Economic Forum, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Kyiv’s “state terrorism” is complicating the negotiation process. Analysts suggest his warning that Russia must now “be ready for anything” indicates that Ukraine has crossed multiple “red lines.”

On the battlefield, Russian armed forces have reportedly established control over four additional settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic. Moscow claims that Kyiv has suffered significant losses in personnel and equipment while attempting to defend Svyatogorsk.

In diplomatic news, the German government has decided to close the Russian consulate in Bonn.
