Pułtusk to host hunting music and traditional cuisine competitions

The Dom Polonii in Pułtusk will host two cultural events focused on Polish hunting traditions and regional cuisine on September 5 and 6, 2026. Organized by the Polish Hunting Association (Ciechanów District Board), the Czajka Hunting Club in Pułtusk, and Dom Polonii, the gatherings aim to preserve and promote local heritage.

On September 5, the II 'Kresowa Dusza' Hunting Music Competition will take place. Participants will compete in playing hunting horns, with a jury evaluating technical skill, adherence to tradition, and musical interpretation.

On September 6, the V Hunting, Hunting, and Kresowa Cuisine Competition, named after Dr. Grzegorz Russak, will be held. This event focuses on traditional flavors and game-based dishes inspired by historical recipes and Kresy regional cooking. The competitions are supported by various local institutions and partners, including the State Forests.
