The rig is expected to enter commercial operation by the second quarter of 2027.
A Keppel Fels Mod V ‘Super B Class’ design, the PV DRILLING X is capable of drilling to depths of 10,668 meters and operating in water depths up to 106 meters. The rig is equipped with modern technology for complex geological structures and is intended to serve markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and West Africa.
