PV GAS reports strong 2026 mid-year financial results

PV GAS, a key subsidiary of PETROVIETNAM, has released its reviewed interim consolidated financial report for the first half of 2026. The company reported cumulative consolidated revenue exceeding 82,000 billion VND, representing 58% of its annual target.

Pre-tax profit reached over 11,200 billion VND, averaging approximately 62 billion VND per day and fulfilling 99% of the annual plan. After-tax profit surpassed 9,000 billion VND, effectively meeting the entire 2026 target within the first six months. Additionally, the company contributed over 5,500 billion VND to the state budget, achieving 122% of its annual goal.

In the second quarter of 2026 alone, revenue was approximately 43,600 billion VND with a pre-tax profit of over 7,400 billion VND, driven by high gas demand for power generation during the dry season. To mitigate international market volatility, PV GAS is diversifying its supply sources and strengthening international partnerships to ensure the supply of gas, LNG, and LPG for the national economy.
