PV Hardware USA expands Houston manufacturing facility

PV Hardware USA (PVH USA) has announced an expansion of its manufacturing plant in Houston, Texas, adding approximately 3,177 square meters (34,200 square feet) of production space. This expansion is expected to increase the facility's total capacity by 42% and boost the production of pre-assembled components by 35%.

The company is utilizing a pre-assembly strategy designed to move complex component assembly from outdoor construction sites into a controlled factory environment. This method aims to address labor and supply chain constraints in utility-scale solar projects. According to PVH USA, the pre-assembly model can reduce the number of loose components required on-site by up to 70%, which can accelerate field installation speeds by up to 44% while improving quality control and reducing costs.
