PV Sindhu credits Virat Kohli's advice for helping her through career lows

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has shared how advice from cricketer Virat Kohli helped her navigate a difficult period in her career. Speaking on the RCB Podcast, the two-time Olympic medalist described Kohli as being like a brother to her.

Sindhu recalled approaching Kohli during a low point when she felt her career had stalled. Kohli encouraged her to focus on her preparation and simply ‘show up’ to compete rather than being consumed by results. He reportedly told her that by playing her game, she had nothing to lose and should show the world who she is. Sindhu stated that this conversation completely changed her perspective.

The athlete noted that she remains in contact with Kohli and shares her successes with him, expressing admiration for his ability to perform under pressure.
