PV Sindhu discusses husband’s role in her professional badminton career

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has highlighted the significant role her husband, Venkata Datta Sai, plays in her professional journey. Since their marriage in December 2024, Datta, an executive director at Posidex Technologies, has become a trusted sounding board for the two-time Olympic medalist.

While not part of her formal coaching staff, Datta travels to tournaments and provides observations from an outside perspective. Sindhu noted that he helps identify aspects of her game that she might miss during competition and has played a key role in organizing her current support team. She expressed gratitude for his understanding of the emotional and professional demands of elite sport.
