PvdA faction at Vallei en Veluwe Water Board to become PRO

The PvdA faction within the Vallei en Veluwe Water Board will transition to the PRO party. The faction currently holds two seats on the General Board of the water board.

For the 2027 water board elections, PRO plans to form a coalition with Water Natuurlijk, D66, and Volt. These parties will run on a single electoral list and a unified election program to promote a progressive, social, and green agenda. The collaboration aims to focus on dike safety, water quality, and sustainable living environments. A list leader will be announced in late September, with the full candidate list and program to follow later this autumn.
