PVF 60,000‑Seat Stadium Construction Advances in Hưng Yên, Vietnam
The PVF Stadium, a 60,000‑seat venue in Hưng Yên province, is progressing rapidly after more than nine months of work. Owned by Vietnam's Ministry of Public Security, the project is part of a 92‑hectare sports complex and is designed to meet FIFA standards for future international tournaments.
Construction began on 19 October 2025 and is scheduled for completion in March 2027. The stadium will feature Vietnam's first automatic retractable roof, comprising a 373‑metre steel‑box arch weighing about 8,600 tonnes, with two translucent panels that can open or close in 12–20 minutes. The playing surface will use hybrid grass technology similar to that at Wembley and Singapore's national stadium. The complex includes four stands, a broadcast centre, media facilities, VIP areas, and connects directly to major highways linking Hanoi with Hai Phong and Bắc Giang.
