PVFCCo - Phú Mỹ integrates ESG standards into long-term strategy

PVFCCo - Phú Mỹ, a member of Petrovietnam, is integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards into its long-term development strategy as it marks 22 years of operating the Phú Mỹ fertilizer plant.

The company was recently recognized by Forbes Vietnam as one of the Top 50 Leading ESG Enterprises in the country, standing as the sole representative from the fertilizer and chemical industry. Additionally, PVFCCo - Phú Mỹ achieved second place globally at the 2025 Vision Awards organized by the League of American Communications Professionals (LACP), earning two platinum awards for its annual reporting.

To address environmental challenges in energy-intensive production, the company has implemented technical solutions such as cooling system improvements and advanced process control (APC) at its ammonia plant to reduce electricity consumption. PVFCCo - Phú Mỹ has also received ISO 14064-1:2018 certification for its 2025 greenhouse gas inventory report.
