PVR Inox shares hit 52-week high amid multiplex expansion
PVR Inox, one of India’s largest film exhibition companies, has reached a 52-week high on the BSE, with shares trading at approximately Rs. 1,325.70. The stock movement follows the company’s expansion with the launch of a new three-screen multiplex at DLF Summit Plaza in Gurugram.
The new facility on Golf Course Road features three auditoriums with 352 premium Sapphire seats, 4K digital laser projection, Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and Next-Gen 3D technology.
Financial reports indicate that for Q1 FY27, PVR Inox saw revenue from operations rise 11.9% year-on-year to Rs. 1,622 crore. The company returned to profit with a PAT of Rs. 56.5 crore, compared to a loss in the previous year. Ticket revenue grew by 15.9% and food and beverage revenue increased by 16.7%. The company currently operates 1,798 screens across 359 cinemas in India and Sri Lanka.
