PWI Pusat to launch 38 regional digital portals in 2026

The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) Pusat is undergoing a digital transformation to consolidate its organizational presence through 38 regional portals across Indonesia. These portals are scheduled for a simultaneous grand launch on October 1, 2026, coinciding with Pancasila Sanctity Day.

During a recent meeting at the Press Council Building in Jakarta, PWI Pusat Chairman Akhmad Munir stated that preparations for the network are in the final stages. The initiative aims to create a unified digital ecosystem that connects organizational activities, journalistic information, journalist competency programs, and regional issues from Aceh to Papua.

The project involves activating the 38 regional portals and ensuring regular content production to strengthen news synergy between the central and regional branches of the association.
