Pyo Baha discusses stalking risks and independence

Musical actress Pyo Baha, daughter of comedian-turned-pastor Pyo In-bong, shared her experiences of living independently and facing safety concerns on the MBN program ‘Special World’. During the broadcast, Pyo Baha revealed that a fan once followed her to her residence, expressing concern for her safety under the guise of protection.

Despite her father's concerns regarding her safety and his suggestions to move back home, Pyo Baha remains determined to live independently. She explained that she seeks to establish her own identity and escape the label of being ‘Pyo In-bong’s daughter,’ noting that people often attribute her professional success to her father's background rather than her own talent.

The program also highlighted the psychological and physical risks of stalking, noting that chronic stress from such incidents can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease by 41% in women, according to research from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
