Pyramids FC targets Egyptian Premier League title

Pyramids FC players and coaching staff have shared insights regarding the club’s ambitions and the current state of Egyptian football. Left-back Karim Hafez stated that winning the Egyptian Premier League is the club’s primary goal, noting it is the only major title missing from their trophy cabinet. He praised manager Rulani Mokwena and observed that the new league format has intensified competition from the start of the season.

In related comments, Mokwena declined to discuss previous offers from other Egyptian clubs, emphasizing his full commitment to Pyramids FC. He expressed admiration for the performance of the Egyptian national team and suggested that players like Ahmed Sami and Mahmoud Marei deserve opportunities at the international level due to their technical ability.

Hafez also commented on the national team's recent experiences, praising coach Hossam Hassan for his calm leadership style during high-pressure matches. He noted that Hassan focuses on tactical execution and player performance rather than individual stardom, helping to alleviate pressure on the squad.
