Pyrenees Book Fair reaches record presentations in Organyà

The 30th Pyrenees Book Fair (Fira del Llibre del Pirineu) is currently taking place in Organyà, featuring a record number of literary presentations. Due to a decision by the local council and the Alt Urgell administration to extend the event to three days, the fair is hosting approximately 50 presentations across adult, children, and youth literature categories, up from 35 the previous year.

The event features 27 stands representing over 30 bookstores and publishing houses, including seven from Andorra. The strong presence of Andorran authors and publishers highlights the growth of the country's publishing sector. Key activities include musical sessions in Catalan, literary award ceremonies following the submission of 267 original works, and various book launches by authors such as Laia Corma, David Gálvez, and Àlex Terés.

The fair aims to serve as a cultural reference point for Catalan-language literature, bringing together more readers, editors, and booksellers.
