Pyrgetos and Aigani to host 20th Kiwifruit Festival

The Municipality of Tempi, in collaboration with the Region of Thessaly, has announced the 20th Public Kiwifruit Festival in Pyrgetos and Aigani. The two-day event is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, 2026.

The festival aims to highlight the region's emblematic kiwifruit, emphasizing its global quality, nutritional benefits, and importance to the local agricultural economy. The program includes informative presentations by experts and agronomists on modern cultivation methods, tastings of local kiwifruit-based products, and cultural activities such as traditional dances and music.

Saturday's events will take place at Aigani Square, featuring workshops for children and presentations. Sunday's festivities will be held at Vayiou Malliaras Square in Pyrgetos, concluding with a traditional musical celebration.
