Pyx Lax members discuss musical career and social criticism

Members of the Greek rock band Pyx Lax, Babis Stokas and Filippos Pliatsikas, discussed their musical journey and social observations during an appearance on the television program ‘Studio sti 3’.

Stokas addressed the prevalence of negativity and uneducated criticism within Greek society, noting that people often express harsh opinions about individuals they do not actually know. He remarked, “As a people, we are easier on malice. It has always existed. We have it a little more.”

The musicians also reflected on their long career and their early 1990s collaboration with Vasilis Karas, which attempted to blend rock music with folk and traditional elements, a move that drew significant reactions at the time. Despite criticism, Stokas emphasized that the band continues to perform because they still find joy in playing music.
