Q-Games announces PixelJunk Monsters 3 for PC
Q-Games has announced the development of PixelJunk Monsters 3, a new entry in the tower defense series celebrating its 20th anniversary. The game is being developed for PC and will be available on Steam.
This installment returns to the series' hand-drawn roots, featuring high-resolution 4K visuals. It introduces roguelike elements to increase strategic depth and replayability. Players will defend an island from waves of monsters by building and upgrading towers, while also engaging in island exploration, resource collection, and movement-based mechanics to enhance defenses.
PixelJunk Monsters 3 will support both online and local co-op for up to two players. A public playtest is scheduled to take place on Discord from September 4 to September 9.
