Qalyubia Governor Addresses 41 Citizen Complaints in Weekly Public Forum
Governor Dr. Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah chaired the 86th weekly public meeting in Qalyubia, Egypt, reviewing 41 complaints and requests submitted by residents of the Qalyub, Al‑Qanater Al‑Khadimah and Shubra Al‑Kheima districts. The session, attended by Deputy Governor Dr. Iman Ryan, members of parliament and representatives of relevant executive agencies, covered a range of issues including job creation, housing allocations, social assistance, building‑violation regularisations, water and electricity services, sanitation, road maintenance and street‑lighting repairs. Specific actions were ordered, such as the provision of a wheelchair for a person with disabilities, removal of illegal structures on state‑owned land, legal follow‑up on a bakery owner’s case, and expedited processing of housing applications. The governor emphasised the importance of direct citizen engagement as a key mechanism for rapid decision‑making and for ensuring that executive bodies address problems on the ground.
The meeting underscored the administration’s commitment to improving public services and responding promptly to community needs, with follow‑up directives issued to the social solidarity directorate, security forces and municipal authorities to implement the agreed measures.
