Qalyubia Governor Implements Transport and Logistics Plans for 51,000 Secondary School Exam Candidates

Governor Hossam Abdel Fattah of Egypt’s Qalyubia Governorate ordered the allocation of dedicated micro‑bus routes to transport students from villages directly to exam centres in the cities for the national secondary‑school examinations. The plan, coordinated with the traffic department and the education directorate, ensures vehicles operate at the official fare, start service at 7 a.m., and include additional school‑bus resources from nearby centres.

The governor also announced that 98 examination committees are fully prepared to receive more than 51,000 candidates. A central operations room, linked with local branches, monitors the exams, while security checks prohibit electronic devices. Comprehensive traffic management, medical staff at each centre, backup generators, and a 24‑hour hotline have been put in place to guarantee a smooth, safe examination process.
