Qalyubia Governor Orders Cleanup and Greening Around Al‑Nas Hospital in Shubra al‑Khimah

Governor of Egypt’s Qalyubia Governorate, Dr. Engineer Hossam Abdel Fattah, instructed Dr. Salwa Abu al‑Ainain, head of the West Shubra al‑Khimah district, to carry out extensive works to raise waste, clear accumulations, intensify cleaning, plant trees and landscape the area surrounding Al‑Nas Hospital in West Shubra al‑Khimah.

The operation removed debris from both sides of the Ismailia Canal and the nearby central islands, performed comprehensive cleaning of the hospital’s perimeter, and added new trees and coordinated green spaces, improving the urban appearance and providing a healthier, safer environment for patients and visitors. Al‑Nas Hospital, one of the largest charitable medical facilities in Egypt and the Middle East, offers free specialized care to thousands of patients from across the country.

The governor emphasized the priority of improving the surroundings of vital service institutions, enhancing quality of life, and supporting sustainable development through increased green coverage.
