Qalyubia Governor orders urgent repairs for water station failure

The Governor of Qalyubia, Hossam Abdel Fattah, has ordered urgent repairs following a sudden technical failure at the Arab Jeheina water station in Shebin El Kom. The malfunction occurred in the pump chamber, causing a water service interruption for the center and city of Shebin El Kom.

Local authorities and officials from the Qalyubia Water and Wastewater Company are currently on-site to oversee the repair works. To mitigate the impact on residents, the governor has directed the deployment of potable water tankers to affected areas until service is fully restored. Residents have been advised to secure their water needs during the outage period.
