Qalyubia officials inaugurate new schools and honor top students

In celebration of Qalyubia Governorate's national day, Egyptian Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif and Governor Hossam Abdel Fattah inaugurated three new schools in the Banha and Toukh districts. These facilities, including the Martyr Mohamed Abdel Hamid Radwan Primary School and the Atef Al-Jebali Basic Education School, are part of an effort to expand educational services and improve infrastructure ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year.

Alongside these infrastructure developments, a ceremony was held to honor 66 top-performing students from both the General Secondary Certificate and Al-Azhar secondary education tracks. The honorees received financial awards, commemorative shields, and certificates in recognition of their academic excellence. Officials noted that these initiatives reflect a broader developmental push within the governorate to improve public services and prioritize education as a key pillar for future growth.
