Qantas and Virgin Australia launch major domestic flight sales

Major Australian airlines Qantas and Virgin Australia have launched significant domestic flight promotions. Qantas is offering a sale of over 2 million tickets across more than 100 routes and 58 destinations, with some one-way fares starting as low as 99 AUD. The Qantas promotion includes checked baggage, meals, and in-flight entertainment, covering travel dates from late 2026 through September 2027.

In response, Virgin Australia has also introduced a large-scale domestic sale featuring various discounted routes. Featured deals include flights from Sydney to Byron Bay for 55 AUD and Melbourne to Launceston for 78 AUD. The sales cover a wide range of Australian cities, including Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, and Perth, for travel periods spanning early to mid-2027.
