Qashier launches AI general manager for Southeast Asian merchants

Qashier, a merchant operating system serving over 25,000 businesses in Southeast Asia, has launched QashierGM, an AI-driven general manager designed to assist small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Integrated into the QashierHQ web and mobile applications, the tool allows owners to query sales, payouts, and product data using plain language. Unlike general-purpose chatbots, QashierGM utilizes a merchant’s specific transaction and settlement data to provide detailed explanations, such as identifying why a payout differs from daily sales or highlighting underperforming outlets.

The service is currently available at no additional cost to merchants in Singapore. Expansion to Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines is scheduled for November. Additionally, Qashier has introduced Crew, a team chat feature that allows staff members to interact with the AI by tagging @GM to perform tasks like updating menu items or sending invoices, subject to role-based permissions and owner approval.
