Qatar Airways relaxes Avios redemption rules for Privilege Club members

Qatar Airways has rolled back recent restrictions regarding the redemption of Avios through its Privilege Club loyalty program. Previously, members wishing to use Avios for others had to add those individuals to a ‘My List’ or ‘Friends & Family’ section, which required the account holder to have either accrued Avios through a flight or completed a co-brand credit card transaction.

The airline has quietly eliminated these specific activity requirements. Current rules for adding individuals to these lists now only require that the Privilege Club account has been active for at least 30 days.
