Qatar and Egypt boost education programmes under national visions
Qatar reaffirmed its commitment to develop its education system in line with Qatar National Vision 2030, highlighting initiatives to foster innovation, improve teacher quality, ensure equitable access, and integrate modern technology. spokesperson Mariam Al‑Kuwari emphasized education as a tool for inclusive societies and noted that the Education Above All initiative has provided schooling for more than 16 million children and youth across over 60 countries, including conflict‑affected areas.
Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research continued its strategic plan to support inbound students and position the country as a regional hub for higher education. The ministry is enhancing the “Study in Egypt” digital platform, promoting the brand internationally through exhibitions in Baku and Florida, and reported around 138 000 foreign students from 120 nationalities enrolled in Egyptian universities. Initiatives also include cultural programs, Arabic language courses for non‑speakers, and events such as a collective Iftar for international students.
