Qatar Financial Centre and U.S. Chamber of Commerce sign investment MoU

The Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance commercial and investment ties between Qatar and the United States. The agreement is designed to support U.S. companies seeking to establish or expand their presence in Qatar and the broader region.

The partnership will prioritize strategic sectors including fintech, digital assets, enterprise technology, and wealth and asset management. The MoU was finalized during a private executive roundtable held in New York, coinciding with the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Week and the Qatar Economic Forum.

According to QFC CEO Mansoor Al Khater, the initiative aims to provide U.S. businesses with regulatory certainty and connectivity. Currently, more than 350 U.S. companies are already operating within the QFC platform.
