Qatar NCSA and EU ENISA Expand Cybersecurity Training and Vulnerability Programs

The Qatar National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has launched new training programmes on cybersecurity policy management, data classification and information assurance. The courses, including the 13th edition of the Policy Management training and the 12th edition on the National Data Classification Policy, aim to strengthen organisational cyber resilience and align security practices with national standards.

The European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) announced an expansion of its role in the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) Program, adding the NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) and AI‑cybersecurity specialist AISLE as new CVE Numbering Authorities. ENISA now oversees 20 CNAs, enhancing the identification and coordination of vulnerability disclosures across Europe and internationally. ENISA chief Hans de Vries said, “Recent developments in the global cybersecurity landscape… have underscored the need to build strong vulnerability management infrastructure and capabilities.”
