The Qatari International Media Office described the magazine's claims as being based on “falsified and fabricated information” and likened the report to an unprofessional blog.

Qatari authorities stated that they had provided The New Yorker with evidence proving the falsity of the documents used in the report, including the so-called “Blast documents,” prior to its publication. Doha further alleged that the report is part of a broader disinformation campaign involving elements of the Israeli far-right intended to tarnish Qatar's reputation and undermine its role as a regional mediator.

Regarding aid to Gaza, Qatar emphasized that all financial assistance, food, medicine, and fuel were directed toward Palestinian civilians and were delivered through mechanisms coordinated with Israeli authorities and international partners. The government noted that these processes occurred over several years under various Israeli administrations and involved Israeli security services, such as the Mossad and Shin Bet. Qatar is currently evaluating legal options in response to the publication.
