Qatar Sports Investments acquires Belgian club KAS Eupen
Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the owner of Paris Saint-Germain, has finalized its acquisition of the Belgian second-division football club KAS Eupen. QSI is now the sole owner of the club, following a period of managing the team's sporting operations that began in December 2025.
This acquisition expands QSI's international football portfolio, which already includes Paris Saint-Germain and a minority stake in Sporting Braga in Portugal. The investment aims to establish a foundation for long-term sporting and economic development, focusing on financial stability, squad strengthening, and the promotion of young talent through a global network.
KAS Eupen, based in the province of Liège, was relegated to the Challenger Pro League in May 2024. The club has been under Qatari influence since 2012 through the Aspire Academy, which has used the team as a platform for developing young players.
