QCon Shanghai 2026 focuses on AI engineering and production challenges

The QCon Global Software Development Conference 2026 concluded in Shanghai, bringing together over 1,200 industry professionals from approximately 70 companies and institutions, including Alibaba, ByteDance, Tencent, and Microsoft. The event centered on the evolution of AI from basic model capabilities toward Agent engineering and autonomous intelligence.

Key discussions highlighted that the industry focus is shifting toward multi-agent collaboration, context management, and production reliability. Experts noted that the successful implementation of AI in enterprises requires more than just technical advancement; it necessitates the redesign of organizational structures, job roles, and business processes to ensure tasks can be verified and failures can be recovered.

In response to the challenges of AI adoption, Geeksperts (InfoQ China) announced an upgraded mission to accelerate enterprise AI implementation. This includes the development of the 'Moli Workshop,' a service platform designed to connect enterprises facing selection difficulties with delivery teams seeking high-quality requirements, effectively acting as a 'supply and demand brain' for the AI ecosystem.
