Qena and Ismailia host

The second season of the "Dawlat al-Tilawa" project has commenced with preliminary central qualifiers held in the Egyptian governorates of Qena and Ismailia.

In Qena, the competition is hosted at the Sidi Abdel Rahim al-Qini Mosque, featuring contestants from Qena, Sohag, Luxor, Aswan, and the Red Sea governorates. Local officials, including the Deputy Governor of Qena and the Director of the Qena Awqaf Directorate, oversaw the start of the event, which aims to discover and nurture Quranic talents.

Simultaneously, qualifiers in Ismailia are being held at the Ismailia Fire Station Mosque, involving participants from Ismailia, Port Said, Suez, North Sinai, and South Sinai. The project, supported by the Ministry of Awqaf, seeks to revive authentic Egyptian recitation schools and prepare a new generation of distinguished Quran reciters.
