Qena Governor Launches First Shopping Festival with Discounted Food

Governor Dr. Mustafa al‑Bablay announced the launch of the "First Shopping Festival" in Qena Governorate, organized by the Future Egypt Sustainable Development initiative. The festival runs from 31 July to 2 August at 14 designated outlets across the governorate, including locations in Qena city, Nag‑ah‑Hamadi, Aboutchit, Dishna, Frashout, Qous and Naqada.

The event aims to ease the cost of living by offering high‑quality food and consumer goods at prices lower than market rates, under the slogan "Highest quality at the best price". In addition to discounted products, the festival features promotional offers, prize draws and instant purchase vouchers to encourage citizen participation and support food security.

Officials stressed that all relevant agencies have been directed to provide the necessary support and facilitation to ensure the success of the festival and to help families obtain essential items at affordable prices.
