Qhawekazi Mazaleni concludes her Miss South Africa reign

Qhawekazi Mazaleni has officially concluded her tenure as Miss South Africa. In a reflective social media post, the former titleholder documented the end of her term, describing the past year as a period of significant personal growth, resilience, and self-discovery.

Mazaleni, a qualified speech-language therapist, focused her reign on educational advocacy and child literacy. Her initiatives included launching an isiXhosa children’s book and leading literacy outreach programs through Empower Youth Africa in both rural and urban areas.

Former Miss South Africa 2020, Shudufhadzo Musida, publicly praised Mazaleni for her dedication to service and her passion for education. The two recently collaborated as hosts on the program ‘Miss South Africa: The Mandate’.
