Qiaotou District Prosecutors Office woman dies after fall

A 46-year-old woman, identified by the surname Chen, died after falling from the third floor of the Qiaotou District Prosecutors Office in Kaohsiung on the morning of the 27th.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene around 10:00 AM after receiving reports of a trauma emergency. The woman was found lying in the first-floor courtyard without signs of life. She was transported to Gangshan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital for emergency treatment but was pronounced dead.

Preliminary statements from the prosecutors office indicate that the woman did not engage in any disputes with staff prior to the fall. Prosecutors and police are currently reviewing surveillance footage and will conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
