QIE Blockchain introduces wallet reputation scores

QIE Blockchain has introduced the ‘QIE Reputation Score’ to its mainnet explorer, a feature designed to provide context for anonymous wallet addresses. The system assigns a score from 0 to 100 based on a variety of on-chain signals, aiming to help users evaluate the credibility of a wallet before interacting with it.

Key factors influencing the score include identity verification via QIE Pass (which utilizes Sumsub), QIE ID ownership, wallet age, transaction history, swaps, staking activity, and participation in ecosystem services like Loyalty Lock. Notably, the scoring model does not equate a high cryptocurrency balance with a better reputation; instead, it prioritizes consistent ecosystem participation and verifiable activity.

The initiative is part of a broader identity layer strategy involving QIE Pass, QIE IDs, and the QIE Explorer. While the specific weights and exact formulas for the scoring remain undisclosed, the feature seeks to bridge the gap between raw alphanumeric addresses and human-readable, actionable account information. This update has been integrated into recent versions of the QIE Wallet on both the Apple App Store and Google Play.
