Qik Banco Digital wins Global Finance Best Fintech AI award

Dominican neobank Qik Banco Digital, a subsidiary of Grupo Popular, was named the Best Fintech AI winner by Global Finance in the second AI in Finance Awards 2026. The award recognizes the bank’s strategic deployment of artificial intelligence across its operations, from instant product evaluation and approval to a personalized virtual assistant, enhancing speed, convenience and security for customers.

Vice‑President and General Manager Arturo Grullón said the AI platform acts as a “financial copilote,” helping users make better decisions while maintaining transparency and human oversight. Winners were selected by an international panel of CGI experts and the Global Finance editorial team.
